The Left’s False Characterizations of Charlie Kirk’s Assassin

The left is desperate. They are grasping at straws to paint a false image of Charlie Kirk’s murderer.

The mainstream media is at it once again, claiming that Charlie Kirk’s assassin was a republican, and they are even getting the narrow-minded, their usual targets, to believe it. Just because his parents are republican (that part is true) in a 2-to-1 republican state, they make it seem as if kids and parents agree all the time. Obviously that’s not true, and several famous examples exist. For instance, one of Ronald Reagan’s sons is a staunch liberal. On the other hand, both sons of Juan Williams, a liberal news contributor, are republicans who have both had roles with the party in the past.

So maybe, just maybe it’s possible that the assassin’s parents actually raised him right. Then he went to college and got radicalized.

What is Hate Speech?

Who gets to determine what hate speech is?

Maybe someone should ask Pam Bondi. She has been such a disappointment. Aside from being the only one in President Trump’s cabinet that was not his first choice, she has certainly underperformed since her assignment as Attorney General. Earlier in the week, Bondi said, “There’s free speech, and then there’s hate speech. And there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, in our society. We will absolutely target you, go after you, if you are targeting anyone with hate speech.”

Bondi needs to brush up on the Constitution. There is so much inherently wrong with what she said. Unless you are threatening violence, hate speech is protected under the First Amendment. In fact, it’s the only speech that needs protection.

The Uniparty’s Red Facade

Election season is in full swing in South Carolina. Not only is there a mayoral race coming up this fall, but several very important primaries are already in full campaign mode, even though the primary election isn’t until June of 2026. I’ve been down here for almost five years now, so I’ve seen one full four-year election cycle. What I can tell you is this. The establishment (or uniparty, if you will) has a stranglehold in this state, and when elections are nigh, they will do whatever it takes to retain power. They did it during the last two reorganizations (which occur every two years to elect Republican party leadership), and they are doing it now in the mayoral, senatorial, and gubernatorial races.

I’ve outlined much of the uniparty’s treachery in several of my earlier articles, but here’s a brief summary. South Carolina has a reputation for being a very red state, but it’s not red at all. Sure, most of our elected officials have the letter R after their names, but that’s only the case because they know they cannot win with a D after their names. Down here, it’s not Republican vs. Democrat, it’s Republican vs. Democrat pretending to be Republican.
