The Disparity of Trump & Platner

Platner should not have dropped out of the race. None of these accusations have been brought to court. None have been prosecuted. He is innocent until proven guilty.

And that brings us to the differences between the two situations. When the false accusations came against President Trump, he did not back down. He fought back. He knew they were full of it and he stood his ground. Graham Platner did not do that. No, instead he made a speech and cried. How did they convince him to drop out? It could have been a threat, or a bribe. I am loath to speculate. But by dropping out, Platner is at least giving some credence to what he is being accused of.

The left will tell you that when their party has a sexual deviant, they kick them out unlike the Republicans. That’s their line. And it’s a lie, of course, because he did stay in for a while after the first accusations surfaced. He stayed in for quite some time after the revelation of his nazi tattoo. They didn’t kick him out then. Make no mistake, he only stepped down once the polling turned against him. That’s what it took. The pursuit of power is what is important to them, nothing more. The left is the side of pedophiles, MAPs, (that’s Minor Attracted Persons – as they want to normalize pedophilic behavior,) and illegal immigrants raping and killing women and even children. The left has no problem with any of this stuff at all.

End the Iran Conflict.

This article may anger more conservatives than liberals. And that’s ok. It may be the first time that occurred in 142 articles I’ve written since June 13, 2025, when I launched BOTR. (Yes, I counted). And it may be the last time. But some things need to be said. If liberalism is a lie, which it is, conservatism must be about the truth. This is why the left is always lock-step in their beliefs and the way their politicians vote, and the same reason there is actual diversity of thought on our side. It’s a good thing.

That being said, President Trump’s handling of the Iran conflict has been terrible. He’s been great on a whole lot of other things, and don’t get me wrong, he is still 100 times better than any Democrat. But this conflict has been mishandled and it’s obvious. This past week, Trump finally came to the realization that Iran could not be trusted. Most of us could have told you that in February, when this thing started. History is always an indicator, and Iran has a history of refusing to abide by the deals they make. So, it should come as no surprise when they broke the ones the Trump administration had been trying to broker since February.

Fake Republicans Win Again

The establishment stranglehold in the state of South Carolina continues. Democrats disguised as Republicans continue to pull the wool over the eyes of millions. I’ve lived here for five years now, and been through three primaries (2022, 2024, and 2026). All three have been major disappointments. I’ve been involved with grass roots candidates in all of them, and I watched, as ignorance ruled the day each time. This state, full of conservatives, continues to go to the ballot box and put the closest thing to a Democrat with an R after their name in power. From state representatives (mine has a 24% conservative voting record) to House Representatives (Russell Fry was the least conservative candidate on the ballot when he first won in 2022), and now Senate and Gubernatorial candidates. Lindsey Graham, the warmongering, USAID loving, 43% conservative voter will have another six years (assuming he wins the general election) to tack on to his current 24. And for governor, with six candidates on the ballot, the worst two advanced to a runoff. Pamela Evette, the DEI queen, and Alan Wilson, the failed AG.

Why does this keep happening? There are some obvious reasons, and some not so obvious ones. The most obvious one, something this blog has harped upon, is the fact that President Trump, as much as we love him, makes the absolute worst endorsements. This generally happens nationwide, but especially in this state. He gets it wrong here every single time and gets behind the most corrupt swamp rats while claiming he will drain the swamp. Here in South Carolina, he is making the swamp much deeper.

The SC Primary - Let’s Send the Establishment Packing

The South Carolina primary is TOMORROW. Please get out and vote.

I’d like to express, one more time, that we South Carolinians live in a state where the people are conservative as they come, but the politicians who run it are not. There is a good ‘ol boy rino establishment grasp on power here, and that apple cart is threatened by the people moving down here. They will lie to you, telling you people coming from the northeast and other blue states are making this state bluer, and I have proven this to be a lie before. How is it possible that states like New York, as they elect outwardly communist mayors, are getting bluer, and the states they are moving to are trending in the same direction? It’s not. It’s impossible. One of them has to be going the other way, and it’s not New York or the rest of the northeast with the likes of Zohran Mamdani and Michell Wu running the show.

News flash - the establishment lies. People like me moving down here are making this state redder, not the other way around. This blog has been a bastion of principled stands against open primaries, voting machines, and non-partisan elections. These are all things the establishment hides behind, things that continue to allow them to thrive. They are threatened by most of us that are moving down here, as we are doing so for the right reasons.
